The Beach is around a thirty minute drive with Mazarron a favourite for many to enjoy the golden sandy beaches, restaurants and watch the local catch coming into the small harbour. Golf Enthusiasts are well served with 10 courses, around a 30 minute drive away. The closest being Altoreal Golf around 10 kms and Mossa Trajectum Golf around 13 kms from the valley.
The local bus can take you the short distance from Frondoso Valley to the traditional Spanish village of Sangonera la Verda. Here you will find banks pharmacy general shops, bars and restaurants mostly along the main road, with narrow roads leading of into the local community. The village also has two primary and two high schools.
There are 2 airports close by, San Javier (Murcia) 30 minutes away and Alicante airport 50 minutes away and both have daily flights from UK with the low cost airlines. The new Corvera airport is due to open in 2010 and will be only 15 minutes away. The area also offers good road links with dual carriageway taking you to the Costa Blanca and Almeria regions.
