Ovacik is the nearest residential area to the world famous Oludeniz beach and lagoon. Oludeniz beach is a national park and a conservation area but there are many hotels, bars and restaurants in the area (not in the conservation area). However, the nearest residential area is Ovacik a 10 minute drive away. Ovacik is located on a plateau above Oludeniz and is surrounded by the Mendoz and Baba mountain range and pine forests.
